when it knocks entire shelves

out of the fridge.

Sprayground with friends

Yesterday we were lucky enough to hang out with some of our good friends in Fort Worth at the Sprayground!!! Kora and Miah loved seeing Roman and Elijah and they swung and splashed and played for a few hours. I also got to enjoy some time with their mommy, Dena, which I enjoyed since it's rare for me to have adult communication these days. Here are a few pictures of the clan checking out a mud puddle they found. Kora and Roman are SUPER big on exploring and they always have a blast when they get together. All four of them are such a cute bunch! The first picture is of the little swingin dudes and yes, that's me pushing them...thank you Dena for including me in that shot even though I was scooting to the side to avoid it. It would have been much cuter without me. OH...and Molly, I'm wearing our glasses and speaking of our glasses, I saw a picture of Denise Richards, Kate Hudson, Jessica Beal AND Jennifer Aniston wearing the REAL ones..UGH...we gotta find out who makes those designer ones!!!!!

The freaky ice cream truck song

Yesterday while I was out shopping, the ice cream truck came down our street. This was the first time EVER that the kids have had the opportunity to get ice cream from the ice cream truck. Austin said Kora's eyes grew as big as they could get when she saw it coming and she ran inside like there was no tomorrow to get some money for her ice cream. Austin snagged these pics of their first ice cream truck experience. I like the one of Miah by himself standing perfectly in the middle of the big driveway, it's funny! Jake enjoyed the ice cream but said the song it was playing was kinda scary. I agree...you'd think they'd pick a song that's a little less "I'm a sex offender" ya know? Anyway, it was fun and I wish I could have been there, but props to the husband for taking the pics!

The 1st Swim of the Summer

It finally arrived, a day hot enough for me to take Kora and Jeremiah to the pool. Kora has been begging to go swimming since the end of LAST Summer and when we finally went this last Monday, she said, "I've been waiting patiently a LONG time to go swimming, haven't I?"

I was very proud of her patient waiting!

The kids had so much fun splashing around. We packed our lunches and just enjoyed the day with NO PARTY CALLS!!! The only bad part were the kids at the pool who kept stealing Kora and Miah's lunch...arrgg...their dad was in la la land not paying attention and one kid even went so far as to take Miah's sandwich right out of his hand!!! Don't worry, I got it back!

ps....pay no attention to the bootie you see in the background of Miah's picture...I didn't realize I was capturing that poor woman's bum. Oh well, if mine looked that cute I'd sneak it in other people's pictures too!!
