summer conversations.

first things first:
congratulations to commenter #34 picked by random.org.
you, haagx5, are the lucky winner of the $30 shop card to gussy.
and thank YOU maggie for the awesome giveaway!
(haagx5, please email me for further instructions)
secondly:
i am being featured today over at little miss momma!
she makes me sound really cool and fun.
she's good at deception. *wink*
go visit her and say hello!
now on to our regularly scheduled program:
yesterday was officially the last day of school
for these two boneheads.
i am now the mother of,
a 5th grader
a 2nd grader
and a kindergartner
(not shown).

being at home with all five kids, all day, has it's ups and downs.
the house will become WAY messier, WAY faster,
there will be more noise,
more fighting,
and less naps for me.
but,
i'll have three more helpers to clean the house,
three more helpers to make crying babies happy,
and three more helpers to star in my hussy videos.
woot woot.
speaking of which, have you seen the latest installment?
being home with these guys also means
i get to listen to more conversations like this:
Kora: when i get married, i don't wanna have to change my name.
i wanna be a Lowe forever!
Jake: Kora, you HAVE to change your name.
if you don't your husband will get mad.
Kora: what if i marry someone who has a weird last name!?
Miah: like poop?
you're gonna be Kora poop.
*snicker*
Kora: MIAH! stopit! that's it, i am NOT changing my name.
i'm just gonna tell my husband that i don't care what he thinks
i'm not doing it, i don't care if he gets mad.
Jake: Kora, it's okay if you don't want to change it,
some girls don't.
but you better not have aggressive arguments
about it or it's going to start a big fight.
you should have diplomatic negotiations
and then maybe he'll understand.
yes.
he really did say those exact words.
happy summer!

OH my goodness, Jake is one of a kind kid, I think you're right that he's just wise beyond his years, he's gonna make a good hubby one day. Kora sounds like another spitfire we all know and love..ahem
Miah is hilarious! quickwitted little guy.
I feel that same way, kids get on each other's nerves more, the house is more messy, but I do have more help at home and I don't have to worry about schedules, yippee!!

I like this conversation too:
Me (at 1:30AM): Guys, what are you doing?!

Cole: Nothing.

Jake: We ate all the cupcakes out of your trash can. They were right on top...not gross at all.

Yup, not gross at all guys. :) Ahhhh, summer time!

Love the discussion. Miah is hil.ar.i.ous. Love Kora and Jake is already an attorney. Good job, Austin.

ah, I'm so happy that Jake is the way he is. He'll make an excellent husband for my Ashlyn. AND she'll change her name to Lowe... I guarantee it. I think Kora will changer her mind, because seriously... Cooper and Kora Snipes sounds adorable. I'm just sayin.

I have a 10 year old, Owen, who has a friend named Joshua Tooty. Everytime Owen says his name my youngest, 7 year old Josh, goes into a fit of giggles and repeats Tooty like 500 times! I love it!! It makes me laugh, and usually everyone else too. But not Owen. He is majorly offended (which just makes it even funnier, at least to me). Just thought I'd share this with you since your little Miah seems to be like minded with my little Josh. Love your blog!
