welcome welcome.

well lookie here.
it's my sits day.
lucky me.
i'll keep this short and sweet.
(nothing worse than a boring blog)
this is me.
i am jessica.
my Lover is a marine
and we live aboard camp lejeune
living the life that the military chooses for us.
and we love it.
(even though Texas blood
pumps proudly through our veins...yee haw)
currently,
my hot Lover
(oh you know you think he's hot, don't lie)
is deployed
for the next 7 months
in afghanistan.
boo.

not only am i married
to my high school sweetheart.
but i'm also a mother of five kids.
yea.
five.
you heard me.
(okay so i cheated on one and adopted him)
if you read my blog,
you can find out
how i went from being this
dorky mcdorkster...
to being the queen Hussy of all vlogs.
(which explains that fancy little
mudflap button on the left...uh huh, that one.)
even though i'm still
pretty much that same dorky mcdorkster.
but without the bangs.
go ahead, click that sassy header,
grab some popcorn (and chocolate)
and a nice cold DRANK
and enjoy laughing your butt off
as i make a fool of myself.
just. for. you.

i spend most of my days
actin' a FOOL
with my rad friends.
in public of course.

or chasin' round my five heathens
who are constantly gettin' into
SOME sort of trouble.
do not be fooled by their sweetness
in this misleading picture.

most days they look more like scoundrels.
runnin' a muck 'round my neighborhood.
while their baby brother
eats bugs and silly bands off the floor.

and even though my Lover
is away,
we're just like everyone else.
we have our moments.
but if anything,
it just makes me love him more.
the little tErd.

thanks for stopping in
and i hope you'll come back soon!
oh!
and if you want to cry your eyes out,
scroll down and read
the post under this one
to hear how Lover and i
spent our last few days together.
you won't regret it!
peace out sits-ters.

Congrats on your SITS day! I said this over there in my comment, but it bears repeating-that header picture is the most awesome picture I have ever seen. Seriously! I love it!

(the one with your friends in the ice dispenser is pretty funny too! hehe) -would you call that an ice dispenser? I don't think that is the right word, but at 1am that is the closest I am going to get to the right word!

SITSta, here! Seriously, you are too funny. Not sure how you manage to retain such a great sense of humor - I lost mine after one!! ;-) BTW, I'm a former Army girl but I agree - Marines kick butt

Not sure if it' s PC, but yeah, I think the Lover is hot. Hope the eight months fly by for you both. Look forward to sharing your news in the meantime. And I think we could have a 'school pic hair-off' - mine was high, baby.

Completely random, but I used to have that blue top you have on. And now I miss it because it was super cut.
