List-O-Junk

1. Last Wednesday Miah, Izey and I went to the Marine Corps Museum Park to play with some new friends of ours we made at the co-op. Amber and her son Ian and daughter Emma-Kay, Katrina and her daughter Madelyn, and Regina and her son James. Oh. And Bonnie was there with Emmalyn but she's old news. We were there for like 17 hours or something, it was really fun. While there, we saw this gigantomongous caterpillar!! He was HUGE. No kidding he was like 4-5 inches and a fat little booger too. We moved him to a tree to be safe so juices wouldn't be strewn all over the place if he happened to be smashed. Bonnie was the brave transportation but he was wild during the move, opening his round mouth trying to bite her. *shiver*

2. So I have a new author on my blog. He'll be guest writing every so often. Here's a picture of him at work. He's so studious.

3. On Wednesday night Austin's mom, Regina (not to be confused with the new friend), flew in town and will be staying with us until Monday morning. We went to the mall one day to buy coats for all the kids (something we don't usually need in Texas the ENTIRE year) and we grabbed a big ole pretzel while we were there. Yum. Miah enjoyed it even though it was just about as big as he was.

4. On Friday night Regina treated all of us to a night at The Melting Pot. It was so much fun, the kids LOVED using the dipper thingys and dipping their food in the pot. It was SOOO yummy, my first time there!

Izey slept the whole time :)

(the raccoon hat is a tribute to my raccoon father)

5. While we were there we had a ugly face making contest. Kora went for the smashed "I've been in a car accident and haven't had everything popped back in place yet" face.

Jake took the gold with his flipped eyelids. Yuck. I always hated those boys in school that would flip their eyelids. They were the same ones that always had boogers in their eyes and would eat glue. Bleh...
6. We went to bed Friday night but were woken up in the night with some commotion only to find out in the morning that a car had run through our neighbors home. Nice. Thank GOSH it wasn't ours...that would suck.
7. Today we went on base to buy Austin more boots and get his hair cut. Izey was pooped (like usual) and fell asleep with Gramma Gina. I think it was her cozy boobs he liked snuggling to cuz he never does that with me.
8. Tonight Austin and I are having a date!! YAY! We were invited to dinner at the Candelario's home. I can't wait! No kids...relaxing, yummy food...awwww.....

Izey looks so handsome in his Bumbo! I can't believe how much he has grown in the last month!
Also... I do NOT like either of your children's "ugly" faces! Your fam is definitely too cute to have an 'ugly face' contest! Anyway, have fun on your date! Relax and enjoy the no-kid time... you deserve some rest!
See ya Monday!

What cute pictures. I love the Maine man Isaak and the cozy boob. Austin seems a bit irritated in the pic of him and my Miah. Whassup??? Tell Miah after he eats that pretzel (which I am sure he is not done with yet becuz it is ginormous) then he needs to come eat egg scramich with mawmaw. Jakob your popped eyes were gross you are much more handsome the other way but at least you are having fun. Koko, I hope everything is popped back into place on the face n now I REALLY!!!! need to borrow your Puma stick. Why are you avoiding my request? Love you all Mawmaw

I'm laughing....you figure out why. And, I didn't even get to read about Jake's face because that's my LEAST favorite face in the whole world....the whole blood vessel eye thing. ICK

Kevin and I are totally into fondue. We have like 15 fondue pots and love to host huge fondue parties. We have however, NEVER been to the Melting Pot. Sounds like we need to go to see if we're doing it right.

I'm glad it wasn't your home too. Can you imagine coming home to that? Or even worse, being home when someone runs a car through your living room?

Ahh, so I made it onto your blog:) I am so excited!!!! I was wondering when you were going to blog about the caterpillar! I really think that it was looking at one of the kids as its "next meal". Your kids are so cute! So....you had to try out the Melting Pot, I wonder where you got that idea from?!? Wasn't it awesome though!

I love all your pictures, the kids are cute, even whey they are trying not to be. :) I love dates with hubby, wish it would happen more often. Glad you guys can get away!

I can't look at Jake's scary face--the eye thing freaks me out!!!!

I have always wanted to try the melting pot----My prob is I would rather buy something I really want for the house (that will last for years) rather than eat an expensive meal that will be gone in minutes! Hence--why we never go to fancy places--I'd rather visit pot barn:)

we have that same bumbo:) Actually it's Molly's but our baby stuff is all shared:)

The cookies are gone as of this morning:) P and I ate them all (minus the four I gave to Molly...) Thanks THEY WERE AWESOME! I am going to blog about them too I am just a bit behind:(

I hope the date went well and you are giving Izey a sister.

P.S. I only lasted a day without comments. It was a good experiment.

Your children are so cute! Okay, so I have my cousin's info. I talked to her the other day and she would love to chat with you. Just email me and I will send it to you: aymeemoe00@yahoo.com. Jake's face is so scary. I used to hate it when boys(because it was always the boys) made that face on the school bus and would taunt me with it...yikes.

HAHAHA! You guys have such interesting stuff happen to you! I never go to Melting Pot and no one has EVER, EVER crashed into a neighbor's home with their car. Grrr.
