Hello my friends! Today is a MUCH better day than Monday, I'm feeling so much better. My stomach is still a little knotted but other than that I've been feeling okay. The only other horrible side effect I'm having from this stomach bug is just BAD GAS. I can feel my tummy grumbling and as much as I try, I can't hold in my poots. And let me tell you, these are some deadly poots!! I'm sure that's more info than you wanted to know, but I don't care, we all poot.
SECONDLY, the most fun thing of all...I ordered my brand new Fleurville diaper bag! I've been eyeing these since Amanda won one on her blog and I finally decided which one to get. I settled on the Sling Tote in the Floral Sky Pattern as shown above. I cannot WAIT to get it!! I'm so in love with it. It's SO precious and SO perfect for me. If you like these go to http://www.fleurville.com/ and check em out! They have bags for all occasions, not just babies so don't think this isn't for you. Yippee!!! I can't wait!!
Miah went to the doctor today to get blood drawn and have a urinalysis done for his surgery on Monday. Let me just say...NOT FUN. After watching Jake get HIS blood drawn just last week, Miah knew EXACTLY what was about to happen the minute the lady wrapped that rubber thing around his arm. He kept screaming...and I mean SCREAMING, "I'm scared!! I'm scared!!" He did really well given the fact I was using a LOT of force to hold him down. I had one arm wrapped around his loose arm, my other arm holding his head to the side and into my chest so he couldn't watch and then my leg was wrapped around his legs to keep him from kicking. I felt like I was doing a wrestling move on him or something. Poor kid.
I also had to go to the doctor, my PCM, to get my referral to my NEW OBGYN. This was THE MOST ridiculous doctor visit I've ever been to. My REAL PCM was out of town so there was a "sub" doctor in for her who obviously had NO IDEA how Tricare works about needing a referral. She asked me at least 10 times if I was having any problems and I had to keep reassuring her I wasn't there for a problem, just a referral. She did a physical exam on me (retarded) and found that I MAY be anemic?? What the crap? I assured her that I was NOT anemic and after all the freakin blood work I've done throughout this pregnancy don't you think that would have popped up?? I know I'm pale, I haven't started my Mystic Tan yet so I may LOOK anemic, but I am NOT. I think she just wanted to diagnose me with something because she didn't understand the point of the visit. One thing she DID find was, get this, I'M PREGNANT!! Who knew?! I have to honestly say, I was surprised. I had a hunch that I was, but wasn't for sure so I'm really glad I went to the doctor. She ended up prescribing me Folic Acid (HELLO?!?!?!) even though I'm taking prenatal vitamins EVERY FREAKIN DAY. Weirdo. Seriously, the dumbest visit ever, but at least I got the referral and I've made an appointment to the new OBGYN. It's a woman. She's slightly darker in skin color than me...okay even more than Miah, but she's a woman so I think I'm okay with this. It'll be fine.
