Food For Thought

I told you guys I'd post later about my V-Day breakfast that we had on Saturday instead of Thursday, soooo here it is. This is the breakfast I make every year on Valentine's morning (except this year for good reasoning). Heart shaped toast covered in white gravy and boiled egg whites then topped with grated boiled egg yolk. A little bacon or sausage on the side and a yummy chocolate treat! Mmmmm!!! I've had this breakfast for Valentine's Day ever since I can remember. My mom would make it as a V-Day tradition and now I have carried it over to my own family to enjoy!

This is what I made for the kids. They are a little too young to enjoy the greatness of the gravy breakfast but they like jelly toast, bacon, scrambled eggs and the chocolate treat.

What a good and fancy mom you are! Wow! I think it is fun to keep traditions going and to get them started as well. I wonder why Lindsay didn't make me breakfast.
