Happy Birthday Summer Sister

On Monday my Summer Sister turned old-ER. We threw her a small lunch to celebrate!
Here are some of the decorations.

This is the platter we made for her with the help of many of her close friends and family. We asked them each to give us 1-2 adjectives that they would use to describe Summer and the response was amazing!!! She is truly loved by many!

On the back we included all the names of those who participated.

The food was divine.
Egg Salad Sanwiches
Sweet Potato Fries with Avocado/Mayo dipping sauce
Pasta Salad
Fresh Fruit
Sugar Cookies
German Chocolate Cake
and
Hot Dogs for the Little People

Amber thought her cake was extra special so she took a close up shot of it.

Okay I look REALLY nasty in this picture, like REALLY nasty.
Fat Face
Rolls on the neck
Red Skin (maybe still an after effect from the junk??)
Big Hand with a huge burn scar on it
Big belly (remember only 20 weeks preg now)
Are you getting a feel for what my beach fashion show will be like?
Summer on the other hand looks adorable, as usual.
Amber is cute as well. Our friend Priscilla was there too but somehow she managed to escape getting her picture taken.

It really wasn't much but it was fun to get together for such a special day! Thank you to all who helped with the platter!

Sooo are those flags that say happy birthday summer made of paper or fabric? They are cute, and so is that platter what a cute idea! I'm glad I stalk you!

Shauna, the flags are scrapbook paper with stick on letters. The plate I got at walmart but we used porcelin paint pens to decorate it. We had to bake it afterwards and it is oven safe, dishwasher safe and food safe!! I'll definitely do that one again for more people, so fun!

Um..you're pregnant. You're supposed to be fat but you look FABULOUS!

Amber, you too...dadgum girls.

The plate and decorations are adorable. I wish I was your friend so I could have neat-o stuff too. :)

I'd like to be super self centered and order one of those platters for my birthday in a year and a half, even though I'll still just be 28. :) You and Amber both look great but I understand that feeling like you look awful part of pregnancy. All that party needed was a Princess.
