Junk.

1. I am LOVING this popcorn right now. It's SOO good and simple. I usually like kettle popped anyway but when I eat too much of it I get a sick stomach from the sweet. THIS kind has just a HINT of sweet with salt and mmmmm. It's so yummy. I want like 20 bags.

2. Kora had parent observation night on Thursday in gymnastics. Here she is looking as beautiful as any princess can look with her friend Isabel. For videos of her CRAZINESS in gymnastics, it's at the bottom of this post. She's a nut I tell you. She isn't scared of anything and she NEVER holds back...she's buck wild.

3. Isaak and Miah went to the park Thursday in the yummy 73 degree weather! Awww....Summer, hurry up and come, I SO miss your bright shiny rays of heat cooking my skin.

4. This toy was the center of contention with most of the playground kids.

5. Got THIS lovely (not blurry in real life) peacock plate from me good pal Natalie. She sent it all the way from an antique shop in Tejas JUST for me :) Love friends :)

6. I went to Kora and Jake's school to eat lunch with them for the first time this year. Didn't get a picture of Kora because there was too much drama. The kid across from me was eating his NASTY school lunch (as if that itself doesn't make you wanna puke) and then he PUKED it all up into his tray. I saw him heaving and instead of being the helpful ONLY parent at the table, I just turned around and pretended like I had no idea...playing with Isaak...ignoring all the commotion of teachers running to him and cleaning him up. Sorry friend...I don't do that. Not other people's kids, that's for sure. Jake's lunch was better except for the mean teachers and lunch ladies who treat kids like dirt. I can't believe how crappy they treat them. Seriously, they would never treat another adult like that...why these kids? I whispered to Jake, "I'm sorry you have to come here every day." He says back to me...oblivious to ANYTHING (as Jake usually is), "Where?" Here Jake...HERE to this nasty place. He had no clue.

7. Oh there's Izey again at the park. He loved eating the dirt, pine cones....cigarette butts...ya know, anything he could find. I guess since his diet has gone to strictly rice flavored snacks and fried chicken smelling formula he's pretty hungry...AND desperate.

8. Is it Christmas? Noooo, just a GREAT day at the Lowe's when 2 16oz cans of powdered GOLD show up in the mail from Vicki and THEN...it doesn't stop there...6 MORE cans of 8oz powdered GOLD show up right after that from Bonnie! What the heck people?! You must really love us! That is seriously like almost $200 worth of formula that I just got FOR FREE!!!! Keep it comin folks...I love donations and so does Izey's belly! You guys rock!

9. Amy's Wedding Jess, my hair perfect every day?! That's probably the most hilarious thing I've ever heard. Uhmm NO it's not. Only in pictures because I PLAN it that way. YES I curl it on some days. And then of course I have to do my PRE picture ritual of sexifying my hair so it looks fluffy and full. That's pretty funny to watch. Regularly, it's blah and blah. Really thin, stringy and falling out. Ask anyone here who actually SEES me everyday. But thanks for the compliment!
10. I've been taking the kids to Barnes and Noble every Thursday after gymnastics to look at book and play. They are loving it and always BEGGING me to buy them a book, but NO. I'm a mean mom so I don't. Actually, I've decided to use their begging as an incentive. I'm starting a chore chart. I used to have one that we used ALL the time in Fort Worth but after the flood it got ruined and I haven't re-made one since then. It's been crazy going from place to place only living for short times but now that we're stable it's DEF time to start it again. My house needs ORDER.

I love how Kora looked over at you after her bar flip to make sure you were watching her! :) So cute!

And the teachers at Jake's school are mean? That sucks. I was a nice teacher. REally. I was. I loved my kids... well, except the REALLY annoying ones...

Ah, Izey. He is just so precious.

How fun is it to be you and get packages filled with thoughtfulness ALL THE TIME!?

CUTE CUTE videos of Kora. Love the last one. I thought she was going to snap her neck with that roll, but she nailed it!

Okay--I want some of that popcorn now!!!! I bet Super T doesn't even carry it???!!! I guess there is a reason why they out the GOLD labels and top on that formula--b/c like you said it costs as much as gold:) I'll have to watch Kora's video's in a bit.....

I'd start posting that Isaak's new diet consists of expensive jewelry and electronics. See what you get in the mail then. I'd have puked right on top of that kid at lunch. Seriously. Nasty. And I saw a three foot metal peacock that was really cool and made me think of you, but I wasn't nice enough to buy it and try to figure out how to mail it and all it's flailing metal parts to you.
And I love that isaak looks like a bag of skittles. Oooh, Maybe you should list skittles as a new part of his diet plan too.

I agree with Laura, Umm, I would have PUKED on that kid too! I can't do anyone's but hubby and kids. LOL! Isaak is so gorgeous, I love his eyes in the pictures.

Poor Izey how long is he on diet restrictions? He might lose some of those rolls that are so cute! Yeah I don't like to clean MY kid's puke. I SO would NOT be cleaning up a complete stranger's kid's puke that is so far over the line. I like Laura's idea. Maybe that popcorn should be part of Izey's new diet. :)

AWESOME KORA:)

Why are the lunch monitors so RUDE???!!! UUUGGG--i hate it when PPL work in a job around kids and they clearly hate kids!

Kris said...

Yeah, I hate when teachers and lunch monitors are so rude! And I'm a teacher! Since I look young, sometimes when I go to another school or to the admin building, they talk to me rude because they think I'm a kid, but then when they realize I'm a teacher they apologize and start being nice, but I think, No way, if you're a jerk to kids but nice to teachers, then you're still just a jerk. That drives me nuts! I hate when I am at school and hear the way some adults talk to kids, like they're dumb or stupid. It really drives me insane. You hit it right on the head Jess, if you wouldn't talk to another adult that way, don't talk to a kid that way. These people should be embarrassed or ashamed of the way they speak to these kids. Thanks for bringing it up! I had to get that out.

Ah, that was awesome KORA! You're a rockstar! I can't wait to see you in the 2012 olympics.... get me tickets!

by the way, I still hate Jake's school even though it's a different one, it just kinda carried over from Fredricksburg. Poor boy, what does he have to do to get a decent education!

You're welcome on the formula....It was a Birthday surprise for little Izey and you totally ruined it for him. Whatever.
