Shhhhh! It's a secret *wink*

*DISCLAIMER*
I just re-read this post and it sucks big rooster wattle.
Do me a favor and keep it hush hush.
I'm a "say all". I am. I say what I think and do and I don't care who's listening or how everyone else feels about it because that's who I am. I've always known that I'm like this, but it never really hit me in the face as hard as it did just the other day.

Because of my "say all" personality, I've found that when people talk to me, they feel the need to add disclaimers to parts of their story, chatting or whatever. These disclaimers are for me personally because they worry that I may say something or, heaven forbid...BLOG IT!

Over the past few days, I noticed this special "trait" I have. I had phone conversations with FIVE, count them...FIVE different people who all added disclaimers to their subject of conversations. Am I really that bad? Geez people. I know I'm a say all but I DO have some common sense and a LITTLE couth ...cut me some slack. I'm good at keeping secrets, I really am! I think I know when to hold back. (well, maybe not).
Do you have a secret? Are you DYING to get it off your chest even though you still wanna keep it kinda secret? Tell me. I'm fabulous at keeping top secret info under wraps. If you only knew!

PS...I think this turquoise kitchen aid mixer belongs in my kitchen, don't you?
Maybe cupid will bring it to me...or the Leprechaun...or the Mother's Day fairy...or the groundhog (is that already over?)

thats not what I meant when I passed you the disclaimer...well maybe, but not because I think you have diarrhea of the mouth but because I think I shouldn't of said what I said and I just don't want you to judge me! sk

Dude, I want that mixer in my kitchen... oh, well... when I get a freakin' kitchen! Do you even bake? Oh my gosh, what am I thinking... you baked Coopdawg's most fabulous cake ever! I think I just reminded myself what a wonderful friend you are. Aw! I miss you!
And, was I one of the conversations with a disclaimer... I must have been, but I do it anytime I speak about my "lover"... I never want anyone to think negatively about him. So the disclaimer was probably more of a safety net for my sweet husband!

You do know stuff I haven't told people...actually just 5 people know, and I know the secret is safe with you. :) I totally think that cupid, a leprechaun, or the mother's day fairy ought to bring you that beautiful mixer, but yes it's too late for the groundhog...he saw his shadow BTW, 6 more weeks of winter and yet today it was 71 here, sorry rambling again!

Okay, I know I am one of the five with disclaimers. I always do that kind of stuff. I wish I could be more "say all." I think it would make my life easier. (Or not?!)

BTW, thanks a million for the phone call the other night. I'm feelin' good again. Also--I tried not to say "thanks" at the end of the call, but it's like my mouth HAD to say it. I could not finish without it. I wondered what you were thinking after we hung up :)

I have that mixer and it's A-MAZING!!!! Mine's not turquoise, though, it's a cream color... I really wanted the red one, but it came out AFTER I had already gotten the one I have, and they're too expensive to keep buying them everytime a cool new color is released... so, anyway, you should totally get it, it will revolutionize your baking experiences!

yeah... you ARE a really good secret keeper.... I try to be but recently have failed because my pregnant brain doesn't sort things as confidential or not... so maybe wait until i'm not pregnant anymore to tell me secrets.

That mixer looks like candy!

Oh..and maybe one day if we ever talk on the phone again *sniffles* I can tell you stories with NO disclaimers...just a thought :)

i'm going to slip a completely scandalous lie into our next conversation and see how long it takes to get back to me. hehe. Buy YOURSELF the mixer and tell Austin he's off the hook for the next few gifts...with the exception of the mushy love poems that you can then require him to write. are marines allowed to write mushy love poems? maybe if they do it with their own blood.

Love that mixer! I would put disclaimers when I talk to you, too! I don't think you're a blabber of secrets, but you're just so blunt about stuff that usually just resides in one's head. Like if I was talking to you and I had a booger, you would totally tell me, right? That's great! I would thank you and be glad you didn't let me walk around like that. But then you'd blog it and I'd be embarrassed.
