Feeling Crooked

It's hard to go back to how things were before, after a wonderful weekend with your lover.
You end up feeling a bit off...

Long story short, and before you all start bashing my parenting, NO Isaak is not in a foward facing seat yet. He had to ride in Emma's seat because his seat was in the car we were going to go get. It's confusing but not important. Oh and before you all start telling me that I should take him to the doctor because an 8 month old should be able to hold their head up, don't worry. He's just being silly.
All that's left of my dream weekend is a new gold band with the
engraving, "In Love Since 11-2-94" which is the date that Austin asked me to be his girlfriend. YESSS, I got the ring !! Now I can hold my PHONE with my ring hand and be really prideful :) I'm such a brat, right? Whatever.

A weekly wanna-be is in the works. I owe you guys BIG TIME for skipping last week but things went a little wrye towards the end of the week with all the stuff I needed to get done and then my Lover pops in so...ya know.

this is a picture of your left hand. your other post said "i wanted to wear it on my right hand ring finger"....i guess you changed your mind? KIDDING. it looks very lovely w/ your blinging diamond. and it was INCREDIBLY sweet of him to get that for you ON TOP OF his surprise visit. It's really special that it's engraved. i want something meaningful like that. what did he think of all the fun changes to the house?! was he SHOCKED at all the work you've done???

oh...and my first thought when i saw the pic of Izey was that NOT ONLY are you making him in girl clothes (as you've previously mentioned), you've now decorated his carseat in all things girly. the explanation was mandatory.

Ammendment: I WAS wearing the ring on my right but then one day I switched it to my left and took off my other gold band thingy that my engagement ring slides into. i thought it looked kinda cool this way so i'll just go back and forth wearing this one and the other one depending on how i feel that day.

crap...meant to say..."NOT ONLY are you making him wear girl clothes"...i should really proof read. :-/

actaully raschel...i didn't "make him" in girl clothes...i was nude. i think that is a requirement during the whole "making" process.

Woo-Hoo! What a GREAT weekend for you! I actually think that "ring" post was the very first entry that I read of yours. Honestly I was like...Is she joking! She is throwing a fit for getting an I-Phone? Are you kidding me. But now I see why. This is a beautiful band. Way to go Austin-cakes! Oh and I am so happy you explained the whole carseat thing, because my first thought was, wow that means miah would have had to sit in that one too if that was Kora's old one. Why hasn't she upgraded? Anyways, like I mentioned above, I am so glad that you had such a wonderful weekend with the Lover.

HOLY CRAP!!! that is a ring and a half!!! And I jumped the gun too and started freaking out when I saw that pic. I didn't care about his head, all I could think of was why you would have your son in a girl carseat. :) haha. And do I understand your comments on Lindsay's blog, are you coming to see Lucas? We are SOOOO going to have a girl PART-AY when you come. I am jealous beyond words that they get to live in one of my favorite cities. My best friend lives in SF and knows all the best places to shop. SO JEALOUS!!! That would actually be a better place for you to visit them, you will have more fun there, except that I am HERE, and you would miss out on ME. But that's ok, it's all about auntie-love and Lucas anyway. Keep me posted on your possible visit!

*and Eddie would benefit from a baby of his own, but that's what cousins are for. We can't physically have anymore kids, and until we get more $$$ for it, we will just dream of adoption.......someday :)

I'm, not concerned about ur parenting until I see him in the front, helping u drive, while eating a honey lollipop. Sorry coudln't help that last part. I LOVE your ring! You are spoiled, just don't let it go to ur head. I'm so happy for u that he came home.

Yay on the ring! I love Izey in the carseat. I bet Amber just threw poor little Emma Kay in the back of the sub didn't she?

Your ring is just gorgeous!!! And about the carseat... LOL... I think it's hilarious that you put all the disclaimers in there. All I was thinking when I saw that picture was... poor boy having to ride in a pink, flowery carseat! :)

Look at your rock! I love it! Good job, Austin.

I love how your acting like that ISN'T Izey's new carseat! Why are you lying to everyone about it? Just be honest with all of us. Your doing the thing again like you did with the bus stop mom! STOP!!!!

Poor Izey is probably struggling just to breath with that chest strap up to his throat.. he's not playing, he's begging for help. I really worry about him now.
