Weekly Wanna-Be

WoW, that was fast huh? You never know what DAY of the week it's gonna fall on but it will only be ONCE a week. Well, it's a new week and I have a new wanna-be for ya.

This weeks wanna-be isn't someone I met or came across here in Jville, it's someone I've known since I emerged from the womb of my mutha. It's my DAD. So one of my dad's favorite things is downloading music from itunes and then making his own CD's. He'll sit in his office for hours listening to new songs, playing them at outrageous volumes and the best part? DANCING his heart out. As most of you know, my dad drove me and the kids up to VA when we moved there and on the way, he listened to all his homemade CD's mostly consisting of Cold Play, Pink, Rhianna, Beyonce, Keith Urban and other jazzy dancy pop songs. 20 some odd hours gives you plenty of time to really analyze dancing methods and I think I've become pretty much a dead on match of my dad. Pay close attention to the jaw, mouth and eye movements. It's seriously identical. The whole dance is basically facial expression and shoulder bouncing, I love it...it's hot. If you've seen this action before, do tell how I compare.

Oh and Dena, I took your advice. I DO try to look at the camera more. I'm getting better. In the beginning I'm looking at the computer screen, I promise I'm not cross eyed.

Love you dad, xoxo

Well since I am up so late, I will be the first to comment. I was just going to check one more time after reading the Dyson thingy but had no hopes of there being a blog entry so soon and "what to my wondering eyes should appear but Jessy Lyn Lowe dancing with so much glee and cheer." As Marian would say, "spot on" you captured yo baby daddy. Yebba that is him. Well I gotta go get the other end of my body fixed tomorrow and then I have Lauren and Aidan for all day so I need at least 19 hours but it's too late for that so I will settle for 6 hours. Love you dearly and OH! I am the first one to comment but so it should be that way since I have lived with "the man" the longest.

Oh my goodness. I would pay serious money to see your dad dance like this! I love your dad, and I am cracking up imagining his face instead of yours acting out these groovy moves. Truly hilarious! Next time I see you, Bro George, you'd better be ready to perform.

I love the weekly wanna-be posts!

You'd have a hay day with my dancing! He definitely has me beat. According to Marc, I'm an "Elaine"...ya know from Seinfeld?!? So sad! Hoping my kids get his coordination!

Love it! Love how you're "feeling his groove". Mutha, I think you need to take this man to a club to get his groove on.

So, when you're there for Christmas, I think you should film him ACTUALLY doing the dance!!!! In fact, you could build a whole dance post and capture Amy too in her Britney Spears world and Mutha and other random people!!

OMG!!!! I love it!!!! For a moment, I thought that I was watching my dad dance. He does the same EXACT thing with his shoulders and hands. TOO stinkin funny! I feel like I know your dad now! Or at least I could keep up with him on the dance floor as we are dancing to the latest songs! ROCK ON Jessica's dad!!!

Oh, and your freakin HOT Jessica!!!! Your so beautiful!

OK I am driving 19 hours to VA and I think everyone is asleep. I am trying to stay awake. Have you ever tried to dance behind the steering wheel. It is very hard. So I really get into my music. Can you blame me? I saved the lives of my Daughter and Grandchildren and had fun at the same time. Yes I do not know all the words. Heck I don't even know half the words but I can fake it pretty good. At least I thought so. I guess not. My Daughters made fun of me because I made them copies of the first CD I made from I-tunes and then I find out they really liked it and Lindsay was using it in her work out. I rest my case. P.S. Jessica I think you did me pretty good but you need to get into the music just a little more if that is possible. Don't hold back so much.

Your last two videos did not stream and no sound. What's up with that (Brother)?

Well, I'll be danged. It must run in the family. You need to query your dad about the time his phone rang at 4:00 a.m. The following morning your dad and mutha had me flat door busted open. I suggest you girls insist that he give us a live demonstration at Christmas.

"Weekly Wanna-Be" -- what a smashing idea. Justin G. said you should write professionally. Perhaps this skill would serve you well in your new business venture.

I LOVE your posts! I have been checking your blog, honestly, I just have not commented. (Bill did something to the computer so now I have to login/password almost every time, and I'm just too lazy, or busy, to do that, sorry!) But I have been checking, really. This video is awesome, I love your wanna-be's. You are too cool Jess! I'm going to email the plates, I didn't forget, and you still owe me an update on your Sundays. :) love ya!
