New Years Eve with kids!

Tonight will be pretty low key.  I'm not a big partier.  I HAD plans to hang with Amber tonight and have our first bonfire but  I flaked out because I'm a loser.  That and last nights vomit marathon I participated in has left my stomach feeling very knotted and sad.

Austin has duty which means he's been on base since 7:30 am and WILL be there until 7:30 am in 2009.  Which means...no New Year's kiss for me at the stroke of midnight.  The kids and I spent a couple hours in Toys R Us spending their gift cards and then we grabbed some dinner for Austin and visited him on base while he does his "priestly duties".

On our way off base, we stopped by Summer and Jonathan's friendly abode to pop some poppers, bash a pinata and prance around with sparklers.  We celebrated the new year at 8:35 with strawberry cake by Summer and shirley temples made perfectly by Jonathan.  That family is one crazy bunch of funnies.  I love it!  They are so free flowing and sporadic!  The kids danced to 80's music until it was time to go home.  My stomach was acting up and Isaak needed to get home in his own bed.  Thanks K familia!

So now I'm sitting in my bed with Austin's laptop, we're watching Daddy Day Care and the kids are playing with their new toys they purchased today.  I had them make pallets on the floor so we can have a slumber party.  I got the fancy martini glasses out so we can toast to 2009 (if we can stay up that late) with our sparkling clementine bubbly!

It should be a fun night.  We miss you lover, come home soon...or maybe just next year :)

My fav. is Sparkling red grape juice by WELCHE'S it has to be that brand...sparkling white by them is pretty good too but I prefer the red. we all love it over here. we had 6 bottles a couple of weeks ago. We drank them all before Christmas...oh well:)

Flaker!!! Okay, so it is much better that you spent your New Years at home since you and Izey are still feeling bad! I really don't need any of the disease that you and your kids have had over the last 3wks! I think that you and your vechile needs to be sprayed down with about 1000 units of anibotics! Then we can hang out!!!!

Happy New Year!!!! And Happy 10 year Annivesary tomorrow!!!!

Glad you didn't get that stomach bug while we were at dinner. I couldn't have sat through it with you on the pot. You had a bigger night than me---3 loads of laundry and watching John Adams. Whoohoo. party animals.
