Man Room

One room in my home is completely finished, although I had nothing to do with it. This is the first house that we've lived in that has allowed me and Austin to have separate closets. Oh who am I kiddin...this is our first house PERIOD. But anyway, so yea...we have separate closets. I didn't think it was much of a big deal sharing one with him all this time but apparently it WAS a big deal...to HIM. He's been going crazy over his closet filling it with all sorts of manly fun-ness as if there wasn't enough testosterone pumping through the walls of this house as it is, right?
So I had to take pictures of my OCD husband's "manroom" as I call it. Notice the organization skilz of this dude. Green PT clothes gathered together on the top shelf. Random tshirts folded nicely on the second shelf. See those four shirts on top that aren't folded like the others? Yea, I did that and I'm sure I'll be reprimanded and taught how to fold these shirts correctly from now on. Actually I take that back, he's been married to me long enough now to know that I'm so stubborn I won't change my shirt folding process just to "match" HIS stack. He'll probably just redo them later when I'm not looking.
Nice manly weapons on the highest shelf along with a football helmet.

"Covers" upside down to retain shape. Necessary shoe cleaning supplies, insoles, mandatory reading material from the Marines AND the LDS church. Belts rolled up nicely for easy access. The precious Marine Corps jewelry box filled with precious medals, coins, pins, A ribbon, and other fun tack ons. Yes, that is a flask on top of Joseph Smith's face given to him by his Major at TBS.

Nicely lined shoes unlike my PILE of shoes.

Man gear.

ALL wooden hangers placed perfectly 1.5 inches apart and clothes arranged by type color and style.

After seeing all this you can only imagine what his office will be like. Oh brother.

OMG!!!! I thought I was looking in Matt's closet for a minute. I think that Austin and Matt are siblings, not you and Matt! Can't wait to see a picture of your closet....with clothes on wire hangers and plastic too....and your shoes just thrown on the floor in a pile!

Wow!! Can he come do mine next?? He should bring you and Issak along for the trip too. :) The flask is certainly my favorite part, ElCid has never gotten such a cool present at work.

i'm super jealous of the wooden hangers. that was the first thing i noticed. i have wire and plastic, and the kind from the cleaners, but wooden makes it look much more stylish and would probably make me more proud to wear my clothes. VERY organized. i like it.

Travis was very impressed and extremely jealous. I am with you on shoes on the floor thrown in a pile and clothes thrown everywhere in no way organized....let's face it, I've got better things to do with my time than organize my closet....like blog, hello!
