When we got home, Jake wrote me a letter saying "We are very sorry" and he wrote the word 'very' 100 times.
This morning Jake and Miah came upstairs bringing me a frying pan with breakfast on it. I think this was their idea of making things better and being better helpers for mom. The breakfast was quite interesting.
With my mom and dad both at work today, that leaves me and me only to manage all 4 kids by myself for the first time all day long. I started the day by trying to organize my clothes and all the baby clothes Amy got me, but things got pretty hairy with Isaak hungry and all the kids bored out of their minds. Suddenly, I remembered my trusty gift basket my good pals Deanna and Laura made for me. I ran to the closet and busted it out and of course all the kids gathered with wide eyes asking me who it was for.
I quickly passed out balloon wands, water guns, sidewalk chalk, nutty bars and a handful of airheads and told the kids to beat it for a couple of hours. The only rules? I don't wanna see trash on the floor and any mess you make, needs to be cleaned up. PERFECT! They grabbed it all and ran off and I've had some sweet quiet time to myself. Well, I have to share it with Isaak but I'll share anything with him, he's so precious! Thanks D and Laura, y'all are lifesavers!!
Kora LOVES to hold Isaak without his blanket on him. I think it's because he looks more like one of her baby dolls. He barely looks real in this picture, huh?
Jake can't get enough of this little man. He is constantly in his face kissing him always asking if he can hold him.
