Dinner with a Friend-o-mine

After my parties on Saturday, I met up with a good friend of mine for dinner. Julie is a friend from Fort Worth so we haven't seen each other since I moved. She was Jake's Kindergarten teacher and that's how we met. Anywho, she was in town for something else and just DECIDED to fit me in her busy schedule...what a sweet friend, huh? *wink*
We went to OTB to eat and while we were there, our food ended up taking over an HOUR for us to get. There were tables around us that sat down, ate, and left, then new people came, sat down and got their food. Well, you know how my husband Austin has a TINY temper problem, yeah...he wasn't happy. To make matters worse, when we finally DID get our food, Austin's was all wrong. It wasn't just, oops, let me fix that real quick wrong, it was WRONG WRONG. SO wrong, the manager had to completely re-do a whole new plate for him. Needless to say he was not happy and I'm sitting there wondering why, out of all of us, this had to happen to him.
It ended up being a nice night though, we got to talk a lot and the manager bought everyone's food so the entire thing was free. Austin's food turned out fabulous and the manger made it extra special good for him. He also offered to bring everyone at the table seconds!!
SO, here's me and my stinky...oops, I mean sweet friend Julie.
Julie has a daughter who is 2 1/2 and her name is Faith. This is her and her new man Miah. Don't you love how his legs are all crossed and manly?

YEAH!!! I finally ranked high enough to be on your blog. I feel priviledged!! And I didn't work you into my schedule the only thing that made it ok for me to do the other thing was knowing I was going to get to spend some time with you. I had been sick the whole night before and most of the morning and early afternoon for goodness sake. I could have said I'm not going, but getting to see my friend kept me going. So don't call me stinkin' =) Anyway, I was really glad to see you and the whole family too. We will have to do it again soon. I don't think I will have to twist Kyle's arm to come back to your parent's house. Maybe we can leave all the kids with the men and we can make it a "Suzy" day!! Haven't had one of those in a long time. I'd almost forgotten about them. Ok, now I think I have blogged on your blog. I'm stopping!! Thanks for a great evening. Oh and one more thing, we have to get Faith and Miah together again, she's been asking about him - awww love in the making!! Do I hear wedding bells?
