When will she learn?? (better yet, when will I??)

So a few of you commented on my fabulous mothering skills from yesterdays post because I let Kora cut her bunny...yeah well, I'm not looking so fabulous now. Kora decided, for the 12th time, to cut her own hair after trimming up her animals. When I came downstairs to see it, I screamed!! It's been almost a full year since her last cutting episode so I was feeling pretty positive about her using scissors again and then this happens, ughh.

Have I ever told you how much I HATE bangs? I can't stand them. I see these cute YW that have super cute swipe over bangs and I envy how precious they look. I've just never been the type to be able to pull them off with my thin hair and Kora has my same hair type...very thin and with bangs...very stringy. But now...Kora is having to sport the bangs and I guess she will be sportin these bangs for a while until they grow out...gag...moan....

I guess it could have been worse. She could have cut Miah's hair too...OH WAIT, she DID. I guess she decided that Miah needed a slight trim right smack in the middle of his head. Now he has this nice cleared runway on the top of his head and this was such a GOOD haircut for him..blah. I do wonder though...was he first, like the guinea pig? Or was he last with her intention being, "if I get in trouble...you're goin down with me."

Luckily we have a haircutter right across the street from us who cuts hair out of her house. We walked over to her house and she cleaned up Kora's hair to look decent, but it's still bangs. While we were there, Kora was in Heaven because she wants to be a haircutter when she grows up (hence the many cutting episodes) and seeing this haircutter chair and sink and scissors in this lady's house made her fall in love.

Don't worry though..I didn't tip Kora for THIS job....

Oh you poor mom! (your still a FABULOUS mom!) I feel for you! I love Miah's face, that says it all, doesn't it? At least Kora has her future planned, maybe she will be one of those stylists who make tons of money being SO creative and artistic for fashion designers or celebrities? :) She could be a world famous stylist in high demand! Just think these happy thoughts everytime you look at her bangs. :)
