Okay wait...

Maybe this one instead? The Chambers Family Comment got my wheels turnin on to the Bumbleride Indie Twin. Hmm...do I like this one more? Of course it HAS to be more expensive than the first. UGH. Okay but wait, is this one American? It's based out of San Diego and I can't find anywhere on the website that talks about being European (or New Zealander thank you very much Dena for pointing out my uneducated-ness). If so, I'm proud of it.
Now I'll just have to start saving $5 bucks a day instead of $4.
If you have any feedback on YOUR double stroller that you LOOOVE, do share!
I want something lightweight, easy to fold down and compact when up AND down, double (of course), swivel air inflated wheels, storage underneath, can hold a infant seat if needs be, and of COURSE....CuTe :)
How do you mutha's of twins do it? I'll never know...

While I like both-I like the first one better. They didn't have anything nearly that cool when I had my two-thirteen months apart. The first one is good because it will be easy to use anywhere. Double wide strollers are limited to where they can go *conveniently*. They don't navigate well in places like the mall where there are lots of clothes racks. They also make wider turns. If you are mostly planning to use it outside, then this one may be for you.

Good things to think about....you will have to weight the pro's and cons....Molly needs to chime in here. She has a side by side similar to that but slimmer....she didn't need it to hold the infant seat b/c she started out with the horrid Graco one. She loves her slim side by side even now that they are 4 and 2.5. She will use it at the Zoo and stuff and in hers they can actually jump in and out themselves now that they are older--so on outings it is perfect.

you know. i reread people's comments for the must...have... post and a paypal account might not be a bad idea. it could be like an online shower.

lots of us are probably planning on sending you something anyway and since you have stuff for the little one to wear (regardless of gender...kora or lauren's stuff OR isaak, lucas or aiden's stuff) already.

if this is something you'd LOVE, we might as well pool our efforts and make a dent.

if it feels better, one of the rest of us could put the "shower" on our blog so it doesn't come off as stroller grubbing. just an idea.

wow they are both so nice!! They have all the cool stuff now that I don't have babies ;)...

I think this one is better.. I had one of those stollers that had one kid sitting behind the other.. ugh.. the one in back always kicked the one in front through the seat.. beating.

I personally like the first one better (Phil and Ted's) because it is so narrow and you can easily convert it to a one kid stroller. I have a Chariot double stroller that works as a running stroller but can be converted to a normal swivel stroller. It has all of your qualifications for a stroller, but it is SUPER wide - barely small enough to fit through a normal size door. It's also a bit of a pain to fold down (basically you have to take it apart). But check it out if you'd like at chariotcarriers.com (I've got the Chariot cougar 2). But, one of the biggest perks for me with this one is that it can also attach to a bike and ride like that (with shocks and all). Good luck! (By the way, I also have the mom stroller craving bug)

Of course I like this one WAY better...but I think I'm biased (and flattered that you read my comment and researched...:) ) Anyway, ever since I got this one I have been IN LOVE! It is so easy to use and the kids seem to love it. We have the brownish colored one and it's adorable too. The space underneath for storage is amazing...I use it for grocery shopping all the time as well. The seats recline all the way and the canopies cover a lot. It fits in all doorways and occasionally is a bummer in super tight spaces but I shop A LOT and it's a winner for most stores and aisles. I think you'll love it :) Plus, the fact that I can use my car seat with it is a major bonus. Charlotte is 9 months old and I'm still popping her in and out of it (oh...and her car seat can be tilted back so she is reclined for sleeping or sitting upright so she can look around). Let us know what you decide and I'd love to donate to a "Baby Gift" fund!

P.S... I have also checked it at airport gates so it's not too big for that either :) I should work for this company...

And...I got mine on ebay (NEW) for $100 less than retail...check there...

I still like the first one better. People won't be able to touch the baby as easily if it's in the back/bottom and it is way narrower. I could get my SIL to tell you all the good things she likes and dislikes about the other if you want a first hand account.

i'm diggin this one. Only because my kids like to see all around them, and get in and out by themselves. I just wonder if you might outgrow the first one earlier because an 18mo old numero cinco will get tired of being in the back and only looking to the sides. He might feel like he is missing all the action. if the side by side can get around as easily as people are saying, I would go for it.

AND I LOVE the idea of an online babyshower. Have Lindsay make up an invitation and let her or Amy do a post on your blog. I like the paypal account idea, as well as posting a few online sites where you can register. I think it's wise to look at "twin" stuff like this double stroller and maybe some other handy items, like a double set of toddler leashes. hehe

I always wished I had the "ride-along" attachment for my umbrella stroller. THAT would be handy for quick and simple traveling when they get older. If you could get that to attach to a double stroller, then Miah would get some stroller-lovin too. You could cart 3 young kids in compact style!

I like this one, too! If you're wanting another to look at, check out the UppaBaby Vista - it gives you the option to buy an add on seat (called the rumble seat) or stand (called piggyback) so the stroller converts from 1 baby to 2.

Ok... don't have a heart attack that I'm commenting!:) I almost got the Phil & Ted's- because you can jog with it, convert it back to a single, cool, compact and not too wide for all those not ADA complaint stores we shop in. So, great option and love them! However, I went with the Joovy sit-n-stand compact...With Penny being able to sit and eventually phasing out of the baby stage he can use the back seat and face you, plus Miah could stand aboard and there still is room for the carseat in the front seat. It doesn't look like some huge honkin baby limo, but accomodates the needs...except, the underneath basket are all minimal with the doubles. However... I usually have diaper bags with the stroller rings...Skip Hop makes a cool diaper bag just for double strollers and multiple kids that attach on to the stroller...just FYI, you'll have to order all this cause you're not going to find it in podunk! OK... that's my two sense, hope you recovered that I commented... I'm on a roll this morning!;)

I like the black one... I took Tommy and Georgia Everywhere in a double stroller, I think they are fabulous. Which ever one you get I am sure you will be happy.

Most of the people I see here in very Northern Utah (ok so It's really Southern Idaho) with lots of little kids have the front & back ones instead of side by side. Apparently they fit through and between things better and are easier to steer...

If I were you I would choose the bumbleride indie twin. I actually looked at those awhile back but technically didn't need one since I have TWO double strollers but that would be my choice if I had to do it again. But please, I don't want a double stroller ever again! haha.
I have the graco duo glider [yuck] and the joovey groove2 which I love but only works great when your babe is a bit older. it is just small enough to work perfectly for vacations.
I have heard good things about the phil and ted except the only down side I see is that when your little one your cooking is big enough he might not like being stuck on the bottom so much. just a thought. hope that helps! sorry, i am slow on comments.

Kolcraft Contours Double Stroller.

Cheap, Fabulous & everyone asks me about it all the time, including those sporting the double strollers I couldn't bear to shell out the cash for.
It is compact, has an infant seat attatchment and the seats turn everywhich way so your kids can face YOU, each other or forward, or if they are really naughty back to back!
