During Sunday school yesterday, my super intelligent husband made an amazing discovery. We were snacking on some Ritz crackers (instead of paying attention to the lesson) and he looked at me and whispered, "Butter and salt go SO well together." I started to think about it, and he's right. He gave me many examples that I'd like to share with you where butter and salt walk hand in hand down Tasty Blvd.
1. Pretzels
2. Baked Potato
3. Steak
4. Crackers
5. Steamed Veggies
6. Nuts or Seeds
7. Baked Treats
8. Macaroni and Cheese
9. Popcorn
10. Oatmeal
11. Garlic Toast
12. Corn on the Cob
So today, I'd like to salute you, BUTTER AND SALT. For being such great condiment friends. Without you two working together, the world's food would have a much blander taste.
Next time YOU have a hard time eating something you aren't a big fan of, put some butter and salt on it and I'm sure your taste buds will dance!

Enos, however, can TOTALLY overdo butter and salt. Like his homemade pretzels. GAG!
No, they were pigs-in-a-blanket. Pigs-in-sodium!
Sorry, I was signed in as Andrew. Although, wouldn't that be funny if it was Andrew. . .
I like snacks. They taste good.
All hail sodium and fat! Me loves it!!!
grilled chicken and shrimp with brushed butter and salt, SO simple and yummy! I like my crab legs salty and just dipped in butter. Rice. Fried tortilla, (I spread real butter on them, a little salt, and fry it in a pan, it's yummy, garlic salt is even better)
:)
did you post about butter and salt because you hurt my feelings? I thought so. :)
